Modifying TriadXP Workouts and Adding Exercises to Library
Modify a Workout
Use the Edit function to modify any TriadXP workout in your Programs Library and overcome barriers (e.g. weather, equipment. injury) that might otherwise prevent you from working out. The Edit function lets you add and delete exercises, change exercise settings, and more.
Select the specific Workout within a Program from the Download Library.
The Workout will appear in the Workout Details Screen. You can scroll to the Workout Details Screen to review the workout routine and details.
Tap on the Edit button in the top right corner of the screen.
The workout will appear in the Create Workout Screen.
The Exercise Routine is displayed at the bottom of the Create Workout Screen.
You can perform the following functions from the Create Workout Screen.
Add an Exercise to a Workout
Tap the Add Exercise icon
This opens the Add Exercise Screen
Select an exercise from the Exercise List or type the exercise name in the search field. If the Exercise isn’t in the Exercise List, you can click the Create button to create an Exercise on the fly.
When an Exercise is selected from the Exercise List, the Exercise Type Screen will appear displaying buttons for Time, Reps and Distance. Tap the desired Exercise Type.
Once you make your selection, the Exercise Settings Screen appears.
Tap on the Exercise Setting you want set.
Once you’ve set all the settings select Finalize.
The Create Exercise Screen will appear again and the Exercise will have been added to the end of the Exercise Routine.
Use the Up/Down Arrows to change the position of the Exercise within the Exercise Routine.
Add a Circuit to a Workout
Tap the Add Circuit icon
This opens the Add Circuit Screen
Select a circuit from the Circuit List or type the circuit name in the search field. If the Circuit isn’t in the Circuit List, you can click the Create button to create a Circuit on the fly.
When a Circuit is selected from the Circuit List, the Create Circuit Screen will appear and you can edit the Circuit or the Exercises in the Circuit.
Once you make your changes to the Circuit, tap the Add button in the top right
The Create Exercise Screen will appear again and the Circuit will have been added to the end of the Exercise Routine.
Use the Up/Down Arrows to change the position of the Circuit within the Exercise Routine.
Add a Rest Period to a Workout.
Tap on the Add Rest icon
This open the Add Rest Screen.
Set the desired parameters and tap the Add button.
The Create Exercise Screen will appear again and the Rest Period will have been added to the end of the Exercise Routine.
Use the Up/Down Arrows to change the position of the Rest Period within the Exercise Routine.
Edit a Workout Exercise
Tap on the specific Exercise you want to edit.
The Exercise Settings Screen will appear.
Tap on the Exercise Settings you want set.
Once you’ve set all the settings select Finalize.
The Create Exercise Screen will appear again and your settings saved.
Use the Up/Down Arrows to change the position of the Exercise within the Exercise Routine.
Copy a Workout Exercise
Swipe left on the Exercise you want to copy.
Tap Copy from menu options
The Exercise Settings Screen will appear.
If you don’t want to make any changes to the exercise settings tap the Finalize button, otherwise make any desired changes to the settings and tap Finalize when done.
Once the Finalize button is tapped, the Create Exercise Screen will appear again and the Exercise will have been added to the end of the Exercise Routine.
Use the Up/Down Arrows to change the position of the Exercise within the Exercise Routine.
Delete a Workout Exercise
Swipe left on the Exercise you want to delete.
Tap Delete from menu options and the Exercise will be deleted.
This is action can’t be undone. To restore the exercise see Add an Exercise to a Workout.
Adding Exercises to the TriadXP App
Add exercises to your TriadXP Exercise Library that you can add to your workouts or use to replace exercises you don’t wish to perform for any number of reasons.
Click on the More tab in the bottom menu of the TriadXP Mobile App. A list of available actions will appear.
Click on Exercise Library and your exercise library will appear. The library will be empty until you add your own exercises.
Click in the Search Exercise bar and type the name of exercise you wish to add. As soon as you start typing the name, a
Create button in the form of a black plus sign icon will appear to the right side of the screen beneath the search bar.
Click on the Create button and the New Exercise screen will appear. Finish entering the Exercise Name in the top field. Though not required, you can also add a description of the exercise, up to three images, and or a YouTube video of the exercise.
Click the Save button to save and add the exercise to the Exercise Library.
